An all-disabled/impaired production 'The Electricians' is a transgressive parody of medical science narratives. An C18th Physician is accidentally killed while experimenting with electricity to 'cure' physical impairment and his human guinea pigs - the Electricians - take over the sanitarium. During a storm they draw lightning down and are dramatically electrocuted, only for lightbulbs to sprout glowing from their satiated bodies. |
