11-year-old Max has cerebral palsy. This documentary, which includes video footage shot by Max himself, follows Max as he goes into hospital for an operation to try to put a dislocated hip back in its socket and straighten his leg. If the operation is successful he may attempt to walk again. Despite being in constant pain, Max is determined not to be a victim, disarming adults wherever he goes with his humour and openness. |
