Shot in Minneapolis, MN, USA, in August of 2001, this short film tells the story of the first ever world championship of Wheelchair Hockey. Teams from six different nations attended this extraordinary five-day event. Competition was fierce, but the real story was the people involved and how they view themselves - not only as people with disabilities, but also as athletes. With music by Bruce Springsteen, "Play On" takes the viewer on an emotional yet enlightening journey. |
