"My Left Footage", a home video journal edited in 1999, begins in 1990 with actual footage of a diving accident resulting in paraplegia. It closely chronicles the next two years upon the sidewalk to recovery, follows with a brief scene in 1993, and concludes in 1994 with crutching (and crawling) back to the site of the injury. My Left Footage is not a tragedy about injury and disability. It is a comedy about recovery. |
